DEHOGA Baden-Württemberg: That’s 12,000 restaurants, festival caterers, bars, hotels, snack stands, canteens, bistros, clubs, cafés, guesthouses, ice cream parlours, and pubs. 12,000 member businesses, each one unique. Together, they all need a strong voice in politics and the public sphere – and that’s where we come in.
We fight against bureaucracy, unfair taxes, and high fees, work to enhance the reputation of the industry, promote training in hospitality and gastronomy – and much more.

Always up-tp-date
Mandatory documents and notices for your business can be downloaded free of charge and are always up to date in the Service Centre. We communicate news about the industry via the website, the DEHOGA newsletter, the DEHOGA magazine and social media.
Local support
Out staff will be happy to visit you in your business. You can also find your personal contact at your local district and branch offices.
Help in emergencies
In the event of a fire or death in your business, the association provides quick, unbureaucratic, and free support to its members.

Training in the Hospitality Industry
Training in the hospitality industry is a top priority for DEHOGA Baden-Württemberg. Alongside appealing vocational training opportunities and dedicated businesses, modern accommodation for apprentices during block teaching periods plays a key role in ensuring motivation and a harmonious learning environment.
With the DEHOGA Campus, DEHOGA Baden-Württemberg is setting new standards for a modern learning and living environment during block teaching phases, building on years of experience at its two locations in Bad Überkingen and Calw.

A Home for Everyone
The DEHOGA Campus is more than just accommodation for apprentices in the hotel and restaurant industry – students from other vocational fields also benefit from the same services at the DEHOGA Campus. In Bad Überkingen, apprentices in landscaping and gardening find a home during their training phases, while in Calw, trainees in media and information services are accommodated. The DEHOGA Campus warmly welcomes all apprentices equally.

DEHOGA Baden-Württemberg provides comprehensive support for training companies in the hospitality industry. Members benefit from tailored services, while the association also focuses on industry-wide youth marketing and image campaigns to promote careers in hospitality.
Promoting apprenticeships
Young Talents Project: WIR GASTFREUNDE
The campaign WIR GASTFREUNDE aims to attract apprentices and secure the next generation of professionals for the hospitality sector. The centrepiece of this initiative is the GastroMobil – a multimedia-equipped bus that tours Baden-Württemberg, visiting schools and career fairs. This allows young people to explore the hospitality industry interactively and discover whether a career in this field suits them.
